Attendance & Make-Up Policy

Recital Season Attendance

During recital season, consistent attendance becomes especially important as choreography is taught and rehearsed. Dancers are expected to attend all scheduled classes and rehearsals whenever possible to ensure they feel confident and prepared on stage. Absences during this time may impact a dancer’s placement and, in some cases, may result in removal from a particular piece.

Tuition is based on enrollment in a class and reserves your dancer’s place for the season. Payments are not based on individual attendance.

Tuition is due on a monthly basis and should be paid by the designated due date to ensure continued participation in classes.

If a payment is missed or delayed, we ask that arrangements be made promptly. Continued non-payment may result in a dancer being unable to participate in class until the account is brought current.

Tuition is non-refundable. Missed classes may be made up in accordance with our Attendance & Make-Up Policy.

If you need to withdraw from a class, we ask for written notice prior to the next billing cycle. Tuition will continue to be charged until notice is received.

Our goal is to provide a consistent and high-quality experience for every dancer while maintaining fairness across all enrolled families. If you have questions or need assistance, we are always happy to help.

Tuition & Payment Policy

General Liability / Participation Acknowledgment

Participation in dance classes involves physical activity and carries a risk of injury. By enrolling, students and their families acknowledge and accept this risk. Cynthia Kniffin Dance Academy and its instructors are not liable for injuries that may occur during classes, rehearsals, or performances.

Media / Photo Release

Cynthia Kniffin Dance Academy may photograph or record classes, rehearsals, performances, and studio events for use in promotional and educational materials. This may include use on our website, social media platforms, printed materials, and other studio-related communications.

By enrolling a student, parents and guardians grant permission for the studio to use images or video in which their dancer may appear. Names will not be published in connection with images without additional consent.

If you prefer that your dancer not be included in photos or videos, please notify the studio in writing. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requests whenever possible.
